People are correct 3 points make a plane and the bottom of a pot is a flat surface. However if you stir your pot and get
it off of one point, you now have a line and pots will not balance on a line. This is why I use four points in most of my
designs. Multiple intersecting planes are still stable if one is removed. Above are some thumbnail links to different designs of pot stands I have built. Click on the thumbnail to get
a larger picture and description of that pot stand. Note that some are suited for open top type stoves only. They are listed in a general order. The ones I liked the best at the top left of the page to the least practical at the
bottom right of the page, just as you would read a page (L->R, Top->Bottom). I showed all designs hoping
